No way, FreeNAS with Trasmission is one of the best things you can use to build a network data storage …my netdisk… with best torrent software, Transmission.
Some things to know, FreeNAS 0.7RC1 (FreeNAS-i386-embedded-0.7RC1.4735.img) contain an old version of Transmission-daemon without DHT and it’s useless, you are cut out with nowdays trackers, so I suggest to use FreeNAS 0.7RC2 (FreeNAS-i386-embedded-0.7RC2.4902.img) that contain a version of Transmission-daemon with DHT.
I don’t know if this patch include only this upgrade, but I want to thanks FreeNAS team!
